Personality

Yuki is introverted and very kind. He is polite and very well mannered, usually respecting everyone. He is usually good at anything he does, and because of this people often think that he is perfect. On the other hand, he is insecure. He doesn't think very highly of himself. Though he is popular, he finds difficulty warming up to people and being sociable. In his high school, Yuki is often called "Prince Yuki." The reason for this is because he comes off as charming (like a prince) to most people.

History

Yuki was traumatized by the leader of the family, Akito Sohma, as a child. He was abused mentally, physically and emotionally. He has a brother, Ayame Sohma, in which he has an uneasy relationship with, considering when Yuki was a child he and his brother would be separated for a long period of time because Yuki's poor health. Yuki's brother started to forget that he even had a brother, and when Yuki tried to reach out to him, his brother simply brushed him off.

Yuki's enemy would probably have to be his cousin, Kyo Sohma. Yuki did not originally hate him. He started matrial arts when he was a child, and he was just better at it than his cousin, even though he started doing it a year later. Because of this, they often get into arguments or fights. Kyo calls Yuki "girly boy", which Yuki hates because he is often called "pretty" or "cute" and things like that. He dislikes being called those things. Yuki does not think guys like to be called "cute", and it bothers him a lot. What bothers him most of all would be when people say that "he's pretty like a girl."

Yuki has to have regular checkups from the family doctor, Hatori Sohma, because he has a weak respiratory that causes him to have attacks. These attacks were more frequent when he was a child, and they were the reason why he was kept in the main house for long periods of time (to which his brother forgot he existed).

He is part of the Juunishi, and was born on the year of the rat. Because of this, when Yuki is hugged by a member of the opposite sex, or when his body is put under a great deal of stress, he turns into the rat of the Chinese Zodiac. (With all members of the Juunishi, once they transform back into their normal bodies, they are naked. XD) When he was younger, the friends he made had to get their memory erased because they learned this secret. Yuki finds it difficult to open up to people, and because of this curse, he avoids hugging any girl.
